A new year brings a new fractal, albeit a tad late. Sorry for the silence everyone. I don't have much time to make these things lately but I do when I can. I'm not stopping any time soon! I love the art far too much for that. Enjoy this one and know that another one's coming soonish.

Program used: Ultra Fractal 3.05

It radiates from the center, quiet and black, until there's a sudden border on the edge. It expands from the gray into sudden and beautiful color, short-lived but brilliant while it exists. Born of desperation indeed, those ribbons seem like they just MUST get away from the dreadful, meaningless grey around them.

I don't know why but I really like this. Maybe because of the fractals, maybe because of the dark background... maybe because of the simplicity...

very nice. i see the dark tendrils reaching out, trying to take over but from every dark storm there are the rainbow tendrils too, the ones rich with life and hope. and they command the attention of this picture, it give strength to the hope.
visually, i really like the folded, almost braided look.

as i look at it more, theres something that makes me think of a forest. with black trees and and leaves but on them grows the rainbow fruit.

extremely imperssive. i love your work.

Looks like a different approach, but still a great one. I like the darkness to it, especially the way the textures add to it. Just the right amount of colors on the ribbons to break it all up.

I confess I was surprised to see these colors in your deviation. Because of the title think I expected something different. But then its meaning -for me- started taking shape. Bright colors being born in the darkness. There is so much that can be done in times of confusion, so much that can be written out of heartache, so many possibilities ...

it looks like im looking up into a tree deep in the dark forest seeing the moon's light in different perspective.
its amazing how this doesnt even feel like a fractal..but more of something done with photoshop. if this were any more real it would almost look like a photograph taken in fantasy land filled with dark characters n such... but in anycase...well done cant wait to see more...
